Eleanor Clare and Dillan Marsh are an artist duo. We gather source materials such as archival research, music scores and field recording, together with experiments in different media, visual motifs and writing based on personal experience. We connect our lived experience and fantasy worlds to mythology, location or cultural phenomenon.

Installations of shifting atmospheres perform cycles of emotions, thoughts and feelings. As in a flashback – when the past is suddenly imprinted upon the present – transitions in sound, video, narrative fragments, musical styles and timbre of voice might shift perceptions of physical works.

We understand our collaboration as a dialogue between making and reflecting, from the tactile process of moulding clay, to the cerebral task of putting felt experience into language – as with feedback between brain and body.
